Sip Happens Mobile Bartending (“we”, “us”) operates siphappenscatering.com. This page explains what information we collect, why, and what we do with it. We have tried to write it in plain English rather than legal boilerplate.
Information you give us
When you request a quote or email yourself results from our alcohol calculator, we collect what you type into those forms:
- Your name, email address and phone number
- Details about your event — date, location, guest count, and the options you selected
- Anything you write in the notes field
We use this only to prepare your quote, contact you about your event, and keep a record of the enquiry. We do not sell it, rent it, or share it with third parties for marketing.
Where that information is stored
Quote requests and calculator submissions are stored in this website’s own database, hosted with GoDaddy in the United States, and are also emailed to us. Access is limited to people who need it to respond to your enquiry.
Information collected automatically
We use Google Analytics to understand how people find and use the site — which pages are visited, roughly where visitors are located, and whether the quote form is being completed. Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser and collects a truncated version of your IP address.
This is aggregate and statistical. We do not use it to identify individual visitors, and we have not enabled advertising personalisation or remarketing.
You can opt out of Google Analytics entirely using Google’s browser add-on, or by blocking cookies in your browser settings. The site works normally either way.
Cookies
The only cookies this site sets are from Google Analytics, plus a session cookie if you log in as an administrator. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies from any other network.
Phone calls and text messages
If you call or text the numbers listed on this site, standard carrier records apply. We may keep a note of your enquiry so we can follow up. We do not add you to any marketing list without you asking us to.
How long we keep things
Quote requests are kept for as long as we may reasonably need them for our business records. Google Analytics data is retained for 14 months and then deleted automatically. If you would like your enquiry removed from our records, email us and we will delete it.
Your choices
You can ask us at any time to tell you what information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Email customerservice@siphappenscatering.com and we will action it.
Age
This site is for adults arranging alcohol service at events. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 21, and we check ID at every event we work.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
